When you choose to connect a Google account to Ayyla, you authorize us to access specific Google services on your behalf using the following OAuth scopes. Each scope is used solely for the user-facing purpose described:

Google Calendar

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar — to create and update wedding-planning events on the calendar you connect (vendor appointments, venue site visits, client meetings) so they stay in sync with your primary calendar.

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to read events on the connected calendar so we can display upcoming bookings (including Calendly-synced meetings) on your Ayyla project dashboard with their correct times.

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — to display the email of the Google account you connected, so you can confirm and manage the integration in your Agency Settings.

Google Drive, Docs and Sheets (where connected)

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file — per-file access limited to files and folders Ayyla creates inside the project workspace (or that you explicitly open with Ayyla via the Google Picker). Ayyla cannot see any other files in your Drive. We use this scope to create the project folder, upload and organise wedding-planning files, and share those specific files with project members you explicitly add.

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/documents.readonly — read-only access to the content of Google Docs Ayyla created on your behalf (proposals, contracts, timelines) so we can display them inside the planning workspace. Ayyla cannot read any other Docs.
